Tuyere management

Tuyere management is crucial in optimising smelting operations, ensuring the consistent and efficient delivery of air to maintain the oxidation process, and maximizing the campaign life of the converter.

Tuyere punchers

Tuyere punchers maintain blast furnace efficiency by mechanically clearing blockages in tuyeres, ensuring uninterrupted airflow and optimal smelting operations.

Tuyeres & Tuyere Silencing

Optimising smelter blowing rates is critical in maximising smelter recoveries. Consep Tuyeres and Tuyere Silencers can ensure this optimisation.

Drilling Tuyere Lines

Accurate drilling of the tuyere line to match the tuyere puncher is the first, critical step to good Tuyere Line Management. This is guaranteed and fast using an H&S puncher mounted Refractory Drill. The ability to punch with multiple bars costs less and results in reduced puncher wear and downtime.

Tuyere Pyrometer

Reliable on-line temperature measurement of the actual molten bath surface to increase furnace operational efficiency and maximize smelting rates. Temperature is measured though the tuyere, and is not affected by smoke or slag common with others that measure the bath surface from above.
