On 3/9 Consep competed for the fourth time at the LRC Corporate Rowing Regatta. Held at the picturesque Penrith Olympic Regatta Centre, Consep faced off against 17 teams for a spot in the Industry Final and Grand Final races. The blue bird day was filled with extraordinary races and down to the line finishes. Taking on the valuable guidance from our coach and direction from our Cox, Consep soared ahead in all heats to qualify for both finals. Our Consep Oarvengers finished as champions on the podium in 3rd place for both finals, an extraordinary feat for a novice crew. Consep would like to thank our coach, Gary Foster and cox Sandra Triulzi for their training, direction and support and all those who turned out on the day to cheer us on.

On 26/8 Consep participated in the Sydney Oxfam Trailwalker 50km Challenge. The Oxfam Trailwalker is a global event where teams participate in 50km and 100km journey to raise money to tackle poverty. Two Consep teams participated in a physically and mentally but rewarding experience, completing the 50km hike in 13hrs and 31mins. On behalf of both teams and Consep, we would like to thank our support crew and to everyone who generously donated , raising over $8,700.00 to help Oxfam Australia tackle poverty.
