The challenge

Consep faced the challenge of tailoring their Consep Hoist to meet the specific requirements of Lendlease's ambitious construction project in Sydney. This included incorporating features such as live deck and day zero access, increased payload capacity, variable car width and extended travel.

Our solution

Over a 12-month design period, Consep worked closely with Lendlease to customise the Consep Hoist to address all project-specific needs. They adapted the hoist to accommodate live deck and day zero access, enhanced its payload capacity, implemented variable car width and extended its travel capabilities.

The result

The customised Consep Hoist proved instrumental in the construction of Sydney's Barangaroo South project. Its installation in Tower 2 kickstarted construction momentum, leading to swift progress. Subsequent installations in Towers 1 and 3 further reinforced its effectiveness. In total, twelve Consep Hoists facilitated safe and efficient transportation of formwork materials and other building supplies, contributing significantly to the successful development of the project.
