Heath & Sherwood

Consep and Heath & Sherwood have worked together for over 20 years, with Consep representing the H&S sampling range. Heath & Sherwood is a Canadian legend with a continuous 90-year history of designing and manufacturing equipment in the historic mining centre of Kirkland Lake. Heath & Sherwood have partnered with local mining companies to develop a wide range of technology for sampling and the smelting industries.

Our long-term partnership has taken a fresh path during 2018, with Consep taking part ownership of H&S. The change in ownership creates many opportunities for both companies, most obviously to see the complete range of sampling equipment offered worldwide with our newly integrated companies.

To commemorate the start of our new partnership, Consep provided a sculpture for installation at Heath & Sherwood’s Kirkland Lake head office. The sculpture is by local artist Mike Camp and has been renamed ‘Sydney T Kirkland’, for Sydney to Kirkland Lake. Kirkland Lake is known as the town that built the NHL and so is the natural home for Syd.

Sizetec

Due to market conditions, processors must continually reduce operating costs, so management teams constantly seek more efficient, higher-performing equipment with lower maintenance. In 1988, Sizetec, Inc. was founded to provide high-performance screens for the coal and aggregate mining industries.

Sizetec Inc, an Ohio-based company, quickly grew to supply high-frequency screens worldwide using local manufacturers and US-based suppliers. They provided screens for gold and precious metals mining, frac-sand, silica sand, and aggregate, earning the trust of both large corporations and independent suppliers.

Twenty years ago, Sizetec Inc. licensed Consep in Australia to manufacture screens. In August 2023, Consep acquired Sizetec Inc., forming Consep Sizetec Ltd. Consep also owns Heath & Sherwood, an Ontario-based specialty equipment company. Together, the combined resources of Consep, Sizetec, and Heath & Sherwood offer extensive experience in project tendering, design, manufacturing, supply, commissioning, and site-service support for all mechanical and electrical equipment, beyond just screening equipment.

Sizetec screens are trusted by major mining companies and recognized by leading consultants and experts for their high performance and durability. Since the late 1980s, Sizetec has supplied high-frequency vibrating screens that meet or exceed industry standards, enabling us to serve clients worldwide.

Holland Equipment

Holland Equipment Pty Limited, established in 1987, provided engineered solutions for various industries, primarily focusing on mineral processing and construction equipment. The company originated from Armstrong Holland, which began operations in 1922 as an engineering and manufacturing firm. Holland Equipment supplied process equipment for the minerals and mining industry and produced asphalt plants in Australia.

Holland Equipment regularly updated its products through internal engineering advancements. Their expertise in mineral processing included drying equipment, kilns, calciners, and coolers. The company has supplied dryers for mineral ores and fertilizers, kilns for roasting ores, and coolers for managing minerals discharged from furnaces.

With over forty years of experience in the asphalt industry, Holland Equipment modernized plants with electronic weighing systems, PLC controls, and improved dust and fume control measures.

Consep acquired Holland Equipment in 2006, and has continued to grow and expand the products, with a substantial investment in R&D. Several of our market leading products, including our dryers, feeders and the Consep Hoist, have origins from the Holland Equipment range.
